SAV receives the award of the El Campello canalization works

On 15 February we received the award of the works of El Campello. A project by the Tecopsa-UTESAV which will consist of the start-up of works for the channelling and lifting of waste water to the sewage treatment plant by means of pumping stations in the northern part of the municipality of El Campello.This project will provide a definitive solution to the discharges of polluted water occurring occasionally in the area, In particular during the high tourist season, as current facilities are insufficient to provide adequate service.

The work will last 15 months and will include the construction of collector drives and eight pumping stations, as well as the renovation of three other stations. For a few days now, the brigades have been operating on Avenida de América, Calle Cocentaina and Cala D’Or, after drills and excavators have passed through the road linking Cala Piteres with the Barranc de Aigües to form the ditches through which the pipes will run. The work is expected to be completed in the last months of 2025. To date, 1,000 meters of new pipelines have been installed (out of the 8,000 envisaged in the project), and the overall work has been carried out at 2%, according to the operators. For the moment, the operation is focused on the northern area, and from October will begin in other areas of the city, responding to a request by the City Council to avoid road cuts in tourist season
